Joseph Trainor didn't know what hit him. Literally.
A native of Detroit, Joe liked cars and motorcycles and making computers do his bidding. It was all milk and honey as the thirty-six year old IT technologist was enjoying a stroll in Van Nuys when he met Milan Svoboda and came face to face with the legend.
Another person overpowered by the Druid Sorcerer.
By the next Thursday Joe had quit his job and had joined Druid to become the greatest IT technologist the motorcycle industry had ever seen. With his vision, Joe could build on the revolutionary S.W.A.R.M. platform and amass data faster than all the motorcycles of the world combined. Milan needed him. Druid needed him. Joseph accepted the challenge.
We welcome Joe to Druid in as the final steps are taken to launch the next phase of the Druid Master Plan.
Believe in S.W.A.R.M.
Druid Motorcycle Company International is proud to announce a $20 million investment by Qatari billionaire and playboy Ali "Big" Al Farook. Mr. Farook will be joining the Druid board as deputy chairman, and assume the role of Chief Marketing Officer for Middle East and Asia.
Mr. Farook is a graduate of the University of East Temor School of Business, then made his fortune by developing the second largest dry-cleaning chain in Qatar and the UAE. Resident in Dubai, Mr. Farook was so impressed by the Druid XEV prototypes that he decided to join the disruptive firm.
"Nothing excites me like the innovation that comes from self-taught people." Mr. Farook said. "(Druid CEO) Milan is a true genius. S.W.A.R.M. will be the next level disruptor in the powered two-wheel industry."
Mr. Farook travelled with Milan to Vietnam to help negotiate additional venture funding and locate a factory.
Los Angeles, June 17, 2019 – After a smash success debut in Dubai last week Druid signs development deal in Vietnam worth tens of millions with Ha Thanh manufacturing company.
Druid's System Warning and Referral Matrix (SWARM) A.I. algorithm connects all DRUID MOTORCYCLESover the air to maximize range and continuously reads ride data such as speed, energy consumption and altitude, and shares it in real time to up to 1000 individual Druid motorcycles. Powerful machine learning algorithms then adjust the the bike for weather, hills and riding style, and to maximize performance and extend the range of the electric batteries.
“I was a part time beekeeper when I was young.” says founder and lead designer Milan Svoboda. “From the bees I learned that individuals communicating even basic telemetry information can improve efficiency by an order of magnitude.”
Druid, partners at Ha Thanh and Qatari investor Jim-Al Farook will invest millions over the next 18 months to bring the S.W.A.R.M. A.I. platform to market. “I think the potential here is to revolutionize global mobility” says Farook. “Milan has the vision to make that scale.”
Since the launch of our professional website and the amazing hard work of the marketing team, Druid Motorcycles have been featured in dozens of motorcycle news blogs and magazines all over the world, including prestigious heritage titles like MotorcycleNews, Motorrad, and mainstream websites.
It is with profound sadness that we must report that some other so-called journalists actually learned to read and write at some point and claimed that we had "plagiarized" our imagery and that our vehicle claims are unreal. Clearly those individual reporters were not our targets. We prefer to communicate with media outlets that reproduce our claims verbatim and question nothing. That is how moto culture works, and how all brilliant new motorcycles are born. Just ask HD.
To that Druid must insist on categoric denial of all charges. Druid has added completely proprietary work to everything in every single communication used. Like all great works throughout human history, Druid began on a foundation built by others. Druid was not responsible for every pixel in our press relations any more than other brands could claim to have invented all of their content. Did BMW invent the wheel, or RGB color? Yet we see wheels and colors in all of their press materials. Where is the media outrage at them?
We absolutely stand by our claims regarding the Sorcerer™ and Prophet™ technology. We especially stand behind the System Warning And Referral Matrix (SWARM) A.I. algorithm and it's claim to function like a bee colony.
- The Amazing Druid Team
After two years of development and wild innovation by our international team of engineers and technologists, Druid will unveil the Sorcerer XEV eatery-level motorcycle at the Automechanika tradeshow in Dubai this week!
The XEV is the first of four all-new electric and hybrid motorcycle models Druid has in store for the 2020 riding season. Powered by the System Warning and Referral Matrix (SWARM) A.I algorithm, every Druid motorcycle continuously transfers data from one bike to another to share road information, load factors, and power needs in order to maximize range and rider enjoyment.
With 120 mile range and level 3 charging, the Sorcerer XEV will go on sale later this year for under $8000 USD.
"When I was a beekeeper in Slovakia, I saw how the hive mind made bees more efficient" says Druid CEO Milan Svoboda. "Now the power of bees are helping motorcycles."
Walter G Schellenberger, CTO at Druid will be taking point in Dubai. "We all work for Swarm."
Druid will be at Automechanika all week from the 10th of June, then the C-Suite head to Vietnam. More big news from Druid Motorcycle International coming soon.
The wait is over! The Sorcerer™ Hybrid, and Sorcerer™ XEV all electric motorcycles are here from DRUID MOTORCYCLES.
Featuring a number of world firsts, including variable-geometry frames made of 3D printed graphene, artificial intelligence-powered drive computers, and continuous cloud connectivity, the Druid Prophet™ platform brings together Silicon Valley tech, thrilling performance and a unique, brash California style.
The Sorcerer Hybrid uses a state-of-the-art 14 kWh battery, AC electric motor and a 2 cylinder gas motor to deliver 230 tire-shredding horsepower, and a range of 200 miles. The Druid Prophet A.I. system continuously reads ride data in real time, and uses powerful machine learning algorithms to adjust the the bike for weather, hills and riding style, and to maximize performance. The Prophet platform was developed together with engineers and mathematicians from Trencin Polytechnik Intitut, a leading European university in the area of A.I. and space science.
“Druid is our dream of powerful and intelligent motorcycling come true.” says founder and lead designer Milan Svoboda. “I came to America years ago with only a vision. Today those ideas take shape and form the beginning of a new reality.”
