January 11, 2022 – DRUID TECHNOLOGIES presents VTAK™, the world's first hybrid electric VTOL personal sport drone.
Featuring variable-geometry wings, body panels made of 3D printed graphene, artificial intelligence- powered flight computers and continuous cloud connectivity, the Druid Aero Prophet™ platform brings together thrilling performance and eliminates the range limitations of strictly electric solutions.
The VTAK™ hybrid sport drone uses a state-of-the-art 16 kWh battery and a 2 cylinder gas motor to deliver unbeatable safety and a range. The Druid SWARM™ A.I. system continuously reads thousands of data points in real time, and uses powerful machine learning algorithms to adjust for weather, wind and load to maximize performance. The Prophet platform was developed together with engineers and mathematicians from Trencin Polytechnik Intitut, a leading European university in the area of A.I. and aerospace.
“Druid is our dream of powerful and intelligent flight.” says founder and lead designer Milan Svoboda. “When I was a beekeeper in the army I was fascinated by the flight of those remarkable creatures. Today my ideas about vertical take off and landing take shape and form the beginning of a new reality.”
The Druid VTAK™ personal sport drone will be available for pre-order this June starting at a launch event at the 2022 AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. VISIT DRUID TECHNOLOGIES for updates.

Former Druid Motorcycle CTO Walter Schellenberger was awarded the prestigious Cínový Muž by the government of Slovakia for his ongoing and relentless efforts to bring high technology to the country.
"Despite suffering a nervous breakdown in 2020 that resulted in the loss of his tongue and ability to speak, Walter has shown heroic resilience and fortitude." said an official communiqué from Bratislava. "The Nation salutes this man and his determination to bring the multi-cellular organic fibre technology he pioneered in the international pizza delivery sector into the heart of Europe."
As a member of the exclusive order, Walter can add the letters CM after his name on his Outlook emails.
After disappearing more than a year ago, Druid Motorcycle CTO Walter Schellenberger was discovered alive. Nevada Highway Patrol received multiple calls around 04:30 on March 16th claiming there was a lone, naked man lying on the side of the highway.
"A man was recovered about 5 miles outside Laughlin this morning, and is now recovering from light injuries" said officer M. Brodnansky. "He appears to have bitten off his tongue."
Walter was last seen barricaded inside the former Druid Motorcycle R&D centre in Van Nuys, California, in a standoff with creditors and local officials. It took several days before police broke inside, to discover the premises vacated but with a bloody pool containing a human tongue on the shop floor.
"We thank God that Walter is safe and back with us." gushed Sylvia Chu, former Chief Marketing Officer of Druid. "He can't speak right now but I could tell from the look of his blood-shot eyes that he was happy to be among his people."
Former Druid Motorcycle International CEO Milan Svoboda was with friends at a gala in Qatar when he heard the news report via friends in the Las Vegas area. hopeful that it could be Walter, they rushed to the hospital to confirm his identity. "Without Walter we can not make computer with bee-controlled flight." said Milan. "Now we can work again on making future."
